| Preparing FileMaker Databases for Web Publishing (IWP) |
Step 1. Enabling File Sharing and Hosting Files
To enable instant web publishing, you must open each database with an account that has full
administrative privileges.
(Windows) Choose Edit Menu > Sharing > Instant Web Publishing
(Mac OS) Choose FileMaker Pro Menu > Sharing > Instant Web Publishing

Step 2. Turn On Instant Web Publishing
In the Instant Web Publishing dialog box, turn Instant Web Publishing On. Make sure you
have the proper database selected in the "Currently Open Files" window.

Step 3. Specify User Access
It is recommended that you do not allow access to all users. Instead, select "Specify users
by privilege set". Select the users that will have access to your database and their privileges.
