How do I change the way the Barracuda scores SPAM and Quarantine emails?
Solution
Can I change the way the Barracuda scores SPAM and Quarantine emails?

Step 1. To change the settings used for scoring your email
login to your Barracuda account at http://mx0.888.net.
(You can only do this after you receive your first notice from the Barracuda firewall)

Step 2. Click on Preferences, Spam Settings.

Section 1 - Spam Filter Enable/Disable
Chose whether you want the Barracuda to block SPAM or not. If you select no the firewall will still block all email from black hole lists and known spammers. All other SPAm will be delivered to you.

Section 2 - Spam Scoring
Select whether or not you want to use the default Barracuda settings for SPAM/Quarantine scoring. Typically the default settings are the most effective for email accounts. If you prefer to set your own scoring select No and set them as you wish. Be careful as it is easy to end up blocking legitimate email with the wrong settings.

Click Save Changes after making your selections.
